Cygnet Healthcare required a set of videos to highlight a new initiative they had launched in 2019, Music 2 Empower. The idea was to capture service users who were a part of the initiative and interview them with live performances to find out how music has helped them on their road to recovery.
We planned to execute multiple videos with a similar layout for each of the Music 2 Empower videos to give a consistent feeling. Our objective was not only to capture the required video but also to make sure each service user enjoyed their time in front of the camera and were given plenty of time to showcase their musical talents.
A special introduction to Music 2 Empower was created with clips from various shoots we had done to introduce each service users performance. Each person was interviewed and given time to perform in front of the camera. Questions were asked by our team to really understand how music therapy was helping them. Further interviews with speech and language therapists, doctors and carers added another perspective to each service user's journey and the influence music can have on their recovery. Each video filmed is being used by Cygnet Healthcare to promote this special initiative internally amongst their sites and at board level.
